Introduction

Lawrence Rudnick, Shea Brown and Liliya R. Williams, of the University of Minnesota, have found an enormous hole in the universe...a big void...that is over a billion light years across and conspicuously absent of all energy signatures, including dark matter.Their findings are presented in a paper (August 3, 2007), to be published in the Astrophysical Journal. Such findings seem to be a natural consequence of the interactions between dark matter and dark energy.

Within the context of: "The LUFE Matrix: The distillation of SI units into more fundamentally base units of Space-Time (ST) dimensions", "The History of the Universe in Scalar Graphics", and "Dark-Dark-Light: Dark Matter = Dark Energy (the inverse of): The Conservation of SpaceTime by the Conservation of Force", the following clarifications and speculations are offered.

Clarifications

• 1. The Universe (which includes all the universes) is fractally resonate...it is music.



• 2. The substratum fractal composer-conductor is the space-time (ST) continuum.



• 3. The sub-substratum...the source of all resonance and therefore all all...is mathematics...the numbers ( I like to refer to it as the "geometry.").



• 4. The "Laws of Physics"...including, but not limited to...the constancy of the velocity of light and the conservation of energy...are the music score...the notation...relating the ST substratum to the stratum we call the Universe.



• 5. The conservation of ST is fundamental and part of the essential communication that the numbers stratum imparts to the ST stratum.
  
  Note: At this level, the informing order includes, but is much more than simply, the meter and rhythm...time signatures...as the continuum of space-time is fractionated into intervals whose individual ST units may...indeed, do...vary with the amount of energy they represent while always being accountable to the constant total sum. Thus the conservation of ST is in effect equal to the conservation of E (and is mediated by the constancy and conservation of the speed of light...as one defines the other. The expression and conservation of integral charge, be it positive or negative, is also derived from this same relationship between ST, lightspeed and energy.).



• 6. As we learn to accept that there are more than three spatial dimensions, an even harder...but equally important...conception (realization) is that of multiple time dimensions. But it is imperative.
  
  Note: An easy example: Velocity=1 space dimension/1 time dimension=m/s. Acceleration=1 space dimension/2 time dimensions=m/s².



• 7. A ST unit...representing the local energy signature...maintains its resonance with the overall ST...and thus energy...of the global Universe by pulsing into and out of and into and out of existence...as a virtual pie which reappears with different sized slices of the whole total pie as the need demands.



• 8. The conservation of the ST stratum requires that for every area of increased energy...and therefore increased density of smaller, higher energy and frequency pulsing local ST units...there must be areas of decreased energy...and larger, sparser, slower pulsing ST units elsewhere.



• 9. It is the contention of The LUFE Matrix, that as mass and energy densities arise, the ST substratum becomes concentrated there...and, indeed...that it is the "dark matter."
  
  Note: The ST unit densities decrease gradually (ripples on a pond) from their most intense concentrations around the greatest energy densities. Thus, like the dark matter effects we see, they are present even when their is no visible/measurable mass-energy presence immediately above their location.



• 10. Likewise, it is contended that, the diluted ST substratum...required by the conservation of ST...has the opposite, anti-gravitational accelerating Universe manifestation...and, indeed...is the "dark energy."



• 11. Dark Matter = Dark Energy (the inverse of).



• 12. Just as the photon defines the basic unit of ST unit expression, and, as we know from its classical interference effects (spin 1 boson), the interaction of two or more pulsing ST units can result in interference effects of the ST substratum at the nodal points producing increased gravitational effects in some, decreased in others, and a neutralization of yet others. The positive overlap of photons creates the elusive graviton (spin 2 boson, either L+L spin or R+R spin). A graviton is nothing more than two constructively interfering photon-like ST units. When the interference brings two equal but opposite spins together, the Higgs boson (spin 0) is formed and it is neutral (although from it all other ST units and their particles can be derived.)



• 13. The "Big Void" areas (and I am sure more will be more found) represent areas where ST substratum energies...and the geometry that they represent...are in such equivocal states. That is, they are areas where...not only is the pull of gravitationally active, increased energy density concentrations of dark matter ST offset by equally pushing anti-gravitationally active, accelerating away reduced energy concentrations of dark energy ST...there is a preponderance of truly neutral ST occupied by the Higgs bosons. And, indeed...fractally...they may well represent the visually and measurably-free quiet zones, perhaps between the spiral arms, of an even larger structure.
